I am so grateful for all the comments I receive, the best part of being a practitioner is when I receive a call shortly after a baby has been born to tell me how amazing HypnoBirthing is, What a privilege.
'The course made me feel so confident about the birth of our daughter, I was actually looking forward to it. When the day came I felt calm and confident, the breathing techniques really helped and I found I was very relaxed throughout most of my labour. The birth phase was over very quickly and all I remember was how amazing the experience was. I use gas and air during birthing and no drugs, I didnt need them!'

'I have just completed the course in preparation for the birth of my second child. I had an Epidural for my first birth but it was not a good experience and I felt that I had missed out on the birth but I know it will not be like that again. The course has helped me deal with my first birthing experience and I realise that I can have the birth I want. I think I panicked when I went into labour with my son and everything went down hill from there. The course has made me feel totally different and I would recommend this to all pregnant women, I wish I had done it the first time around!'

"Hi! We are all very well, and like the birth, so far, the nights and tiredness are not as bad as expected! The birth was great, I was pretty much fully dilated at home, with Dan and Nicky doing the business brilliant. When I got to the hospital they assumed I was only in the early stages,as I was chilled, and not screaming, so they did not examine me for a couple of hours, when they realised I was fully dilated and they could see the babies head.
The midwife was great, and within an hour was using all the right terminology, and also broke all hospital protocols by letting the baby be stuck' for three hours instead of the one that protocols allow for – as mum and babies heart beats were fine, she let things all happen naturally. I was so chilled out that my surges all but stopped, and had to push twice right at the end, but other than that, all went to plan!
The midwives said they had never seen such a relaxed birthing, and the anaethesatist who had gone though all pain relief options when I was admitted, came back after the birth to ask about hypnobirthing, as his wife was pregnant! Edie is a very chilled out baby, doesn't scream, except for food and nappy change, and we're all very happy!"

"Olivier was born at home and the midwife said that was the first birth she had seen when no pain relief was used! To begin with I have trouble convincing the midwives I was actually in labour because I was relaxed. Everything went really well only unfortunately I had to have my stitches checked at hospital because of the tearing from last time, but this time there was no problem. We are all happy and HypnoBirthing really helped us prepared for a better birth.'
